I’m craving an analog life….
I’m craving an analog life
Ironically I have to say this on my digital life
I want a physical music player with buttons, not iTunes
I want a video game player with joysticks, not Candy Crush
I want a clock that only tells time and rings once in the morning, not something that tracks my sleep, steps, and stress
I want to push a trolley and handpick the veggies in a grocery store, not sit on my sofa waiting for it to be delivered in 10 minutes
I want to get something stitched from a local tailor, not something that arrives the same day
I want to see you at that restaurant at the agreed time, without updating you on where I’ve reached, just the trust that I’ll be there
I want a camera that doesn’t show me the photo immediately
I want a notebook that doesn’t autocorrect my thoughts
I want a conversation that isn’t overheard, stored, or transcribed
I want a day that isn’t documented
I want to remember things, without searching for them
I want to slow down and live life, not hustle and let it pass me by
I want a life… that doesn’t need charging..
I’m craving an analog life.
Ethically Yours,
